How did Kenya Moore earn his wealth and money?
Kenya Summer Moore was born on 24th January 1971, in Detroit, Michigan, USA. She is an actress, model, television personality, producer, author, and entrepreneur. Kenya was abandoned by her mother at the age of three; her mother did not even name her, and to this day, she has not acknowledged Kenya’s existence. Moore used to live with her grandmother, so in order to fend for the two of them, Kenya started modeling when she was fourteen years old. In 1993, she went on to become Miss Michigan, USA, and then Miss USA, too; but, she was ranked sixth among the top participants of the Miss Universe pageant, but could not win. Either way, she got a lot of recognition.
Soon, she was getting into acting. She made her television debut a year after the Miss Universe pageant on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” (1994). Then she debuted in the Hollywood movie “Waiting to Exhale” (1995); this movie earned $82 million at the box office. The rest of the 90’s saw Kenya Moore appearing on various television shows, like “Smart Guy” (1997), “Nubian Goddess” (1997), and “Damon” (1998). Even though she had entered Hollywood with these opportunities, she did not garner enough wealth back then, because she was an unknown quantity for the industry.
In 1999, she got a recurring role on “In the House”, after which she got her very first role as a protagonist in the thriller movie, “Trios” (2000). It ended up earning $1.3 million on a production budget of $250,000. In 2003, she starred in the movie “Deliver Us From Eva”, which is one of her best movies yet. The movie has collected $17,573,594 as of yet. Kenya has been working on the reality television show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” since 2012. She is one of the main characters – one of the housewives – and has earned most of her money from this show. She was introduced pretty late in the show, in season five, but soon became a fan favorite. Apparently, she earned $600,000 in her first season on the show, and by the end of the ninth season, she had a sum of $1.4 million yielded from it.
Over the years, Moore has been on the cover of several different magazines, from Seventeen to Ebony, and Glamour to Essence. Also, she has starred in various music videos. Kenya published a book – “Game, Get Some!” – in 2007; the book was basically a systemic arrangement of bits of advice from Kenya. She developed and released her workout DVD in 2013, and named it “Kenya Moore: Booty Boot Camp”. She has produced, as well as directed, several projects. She is credited as the producer and director of the movie “Trapped: Haitian Nights” as she had taken over control and completed the movie after it lost the director. When it came time for distribution of the film, there were no takers, hence the establishment of “Moore Vision Media”, in 2008. This company is an independent movie production house along with providing home-video distribution. “The Confidant” was the very first movie to be released under the banner of Moore Vision Media.
When 2013 rolled around, Kenya Moore took a step into the music industry by releasing her debut single, “Gone with the Wind Fabulous”. The song came with an official music video, and even though it could not reach any chart listings, it became a favorite among the fans.
