Keyshia Cole, real name Keysia Myesha Cole, was born on 15 October 1981 in California, US to Francine Lons and Virgil Hunter. Later, Keyshia was adopted by family friends Yvonne and Leon Cole when she was 2, which is the reason why she decided to change her last name to Cole. Keyshia Cole is not only an American singer but is also a songwriter, actress as well as a businesswoman. Cole started her music career at the age of 12 when she met and recorded with MC Hammer.
