Kung Fu Episode 10 Recap

In ‘Kung Fu’ episode 10, titled ‘Choice,’ Nicky tries to know more about her family’s linkage to the weapons. However, she is distracted when Even begins to struggle with a case. Although he is reluctant to seek her help, he succumbs to her desire to solve his problem. It turns out that the matter involves a kid who has been undeservingly blamed for a crime. Nicky then calls for Althea’s help and then sets out in search of evidence that could prove otherwise. She later crashes a college party and catches hold of crucial information in the form of a video on her phone. But the host of the event finds out and destroys the device during a fight between the two parties.

Elsewhere, Zhilan and Kerwin have an unpleasant encounter with his dad, who chides them and ties them up before revealing his grand scheme of acquiring the weapons. He threatens to kill Zhilan if his son does not disclose the location of the weapons. So Kerwin ultimately gives in. Mei-Li and Jin finally meet Joe, who is introduced as Ryan’s boyfriend. In an unexpected turn of events, Kerwin kills his father and frees Zhilan. Coming back to Nicky’s college adventure, she finds a valuable witness who has been oppressed and silenced by a group of frat boys. But Althea convinces her to speak up, and once her testimony is out, Evan wins the case.

But Evan soon begins to have seconds thoughts about his job. Nicky, in response, confesses that she has feelings for him but has set her mind on being with Henry. Ryan thereafter becomes the second victim of heartbreak when Joe reveals that he has been recruited in Chicago. In the end, Nicky finds Henry at the library and asks him to be her date for Althea’s wedding. He pulls her in for a brief embrace before leaving one of the tapes on. There is the location of a weapon revealed in the song that plays.
