How did Kurupt earn his money and wealth?
Kurupt (stage name) is born on November 23 in 1972. His original name is Ricardo Emmanuel Brown. Kurupt is popular American rapper, former Executive Vice president of Death Row Records and actor. He is the partner of the duo of the hip-hop Tha Dogg Pound and is mainly in focus for his work with Death Row Records. Along with The Dogg Pound, Kurupt is also the member of the hip-hop groups HRSMN and Dirty OGz.
Kurupt’s music career with the Death Row Records started in the early 1990s, making a famous group consisting of Kurupt, Lady of Rage, Snoop Dogg, Lil’ 1/2 Dead and RBX, Daz Dillinger, led by Dr. Dre and the D.O.C musically. In 1995, After Tupac Shakur signed to Death Row, a conflict was generated between Death Row and the east coast’s Bad Boy Entertainment. Death Row became a divided label, with Suge Knight challenging every rapper on the label diss a collection of east coast artists welcoming from or united with Bad Boy. As a result of this Death Row conflict, Kurupt and Daz joined in the quarrel with their single “New York, New York,” showing Snoop Dogg; the song was taken as a diss against NYC and although it did not diss anyone particularly, it encouraged the response “L.A., L.A.” by rappers of NY, Capone-N-Noreaga, Tragedy Khadafi and Mobb Deep.
In 2005, Kurupt and Daz together as part of the Dogg Pound released Dillinger & Young Gotti II: The Saga Continues, Cali is in 2006, and Dogg Chitin 2007; the 100 Wayz was also released as the actual release of Dogg Pound. The album gained critical applaud and topped few international charts. In 2006 Kurupt also appeared on the Snoop Dogg’s album Tha Blue Carpet Treatment. In 2008, Kurupt also featured on Snoop Dogg’s album Ego Trippin’.
Before the release of 100 Wayz by Dogg Pound, its Gangsta Grillz mixtape was released, which was hosted by DJ Drama. In 2009, the album, BlaQKout was released followed by the album, DJ Quik. Both the albums were watched by millions of viewers and Dogg Pound grabbed more attention and fame.
