Laveranues Leon Coles was born on 29 December in 1977 in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. He is a 40-year-old former American football player who plays as wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He did his schooling at Ribault High School in Jacksonville and while his education he ran track, played football and basketball. He has a degree in Nutrition and Fitness. His height is 5 feet and 11 inches and weighs 200 lbs ( 91 kgs).

He has played in the National Football League for eleven seasons over a period of ten years that is from 2000 to 2010.

He played his First stint with New York Jets of 2000 NFL draft and won against the Miami Dolphins in 2000. In 2002, he was signed for the Washington Redskins as they offered him more money than the New York Jets and he made Pro Bowl for them and later in 2005, he was again traded to the Jets. In 2009 he signed a $28 million contract for Cincinnati Bengals for 4 years, but was released by the team in a year and this has been the main reason for his net worth. Following his pattern of returning to his previous team, he returned back to the New York Jets in 2010. In his whole career, he has scored 49 touchdowns. Apart from being a sportsman in 2010, he was also cast by Tyler Perry in his movie named “Why Did I Get Married Too?”.
