How did Lloyd Banks earn his money and wealth?
Lloyd Banks was born on April 30, 1982, at New Carrollton, Maryland, United States. His original name is Christopher Charles Lloyd, he is a hip hop recording artist and member of East Coast hip hop group G-Unit. He was brought up in South Jamaica, Queens and dropped out of school in 1998. Beg for Mercy in 2003 and T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight) in 2008 is the two albums released by G-Unit. The Hunger for More in 2004 with the top ten hit single “On Fire” was the first solo album. The thirst studio album The Hunger for More 2, was released on November 22, 2010, when G-Unit signed up with EMI.
Banks was born in New Carrollton, Maryland and brought up in Queen, New York; he is Puerto Rican and African-American. His dad invested most of Lloyd’s childhood in jail, making his mom to take care of him and his two siblings. Lloyd joined August Martin High School but left studying at the age of 16. G-Unit began when childhood friends Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, and Tony Yayo decided to form a team. They met Young Buck when UTP team came to New York and 50 Cent heard Young Bankrapping. After 50 Cent finalized his agreement with Aftermath Entertainment they took him in the team and finalized him. While he was working on Mixtapes, 50 Cent was soon provided his own record brand by Dr. Dre and launched the album Get Rich or Die Tryin’; Lloyd Bank was presented on the music “Don’t Push Me”, and the remixed form of “P.I.M.P”. Soon after the team had established their own brand, G-Unit Record. G-Unit launched their first formal team Beg for Mercy in November 2003, which went on to be qualified double platinum.
On September 10, 2001, Bank was shot twice while leaving a nightclub in Southside Jamaica, Queens. He was hit in the back and stomach and ran to the closest medical center after struggling the injuries. He awoke the next morning to news of the 9/11 enemy strikes and viewed from his medical bed as the Twin Towers dropped to the ground.
