Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 2 Cast

Season 1 of ‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’ features three black power couples, employed in the prestigious real estate business of Huntsville, Alabama. They are Melody and Martell Holt, Marsau and LaTisha Scott, and Maurice and Kimberlee Scott. The second part of the first season added Cedarric and Adaira Collins, who are good friends of both the Holts and Scotts, to the show. Season 2 is confirmed to feature all the three main couples from season 1 making a comeback.

What Can Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 2 be About?

‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’ chronicles the journeys of three very successful and prominent African-American couples, settled in the city of Huntsville, Alabama. All of them are working together to strengthen the socio-economic condition of their hometown through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group.

Close friends for a long time and active socialites, each of these individuals has distinct, strong personalities and their own viewpoints about personal and professional lives. As the episodes unfold, we witness the couples juggling between maintaining their marriages and attempting to make their venture a success. In their journey, there is laughter, tears, heated arguments, and also a wedding while they struggle to achieve their dreams. What happens when business is mixed with emotions? And how do they overcome personal conflicts that threaten to distance long-time bonds? These are some of the questions that the docu-series tries to answer.

Toward the end of the first part of season 1, we see Marsau making a surprise announcement, and Latisha boasting new accomplishments, as she finally transitions from a housewife to a full-time career mom. Next, it is revealed that Martell’s injury requires surgery. On the other hand, Maurice wants his ex to meet the current partner, Kimberlee and wishes his son to live with them. There is also a meeting with the members of the Comeback Group which ends with quite some unfavorable results. Melody now is hell-bent on taking up new projects without consulting the rest.

Kimberly is definitely the star in season 1 — a down-to-earth, focussed woman who tries to put trivial issues aside and concentrate on the movement. On the downside, Melody and Martell are drifting apart. Mel announces that he should get ready for his new living arrangements downstairs after the surgery. But we do know that Martell loves his partner and would go to any lengths to make things right.

The second part of season 1 picks up the story from where the first part left off, emphasizing the fact, ‘All that glitters is not gold’. Amidst the glitz, fame, and money, we follow Martell as he attempts to improve his relationship with estranged wife Melody. LaTisha is finally independent and starts using her real estate license. Kimberlee is confused about how to fit in a blended family which now includes Maurice’s son and the potential entry of his ex-wife.

Of course, a power couple doesn’t mean always mean the perfect couple. Even these relationships have their own share of challenges and adjustments. Season 2’s official description goes as follows: “Huntsville’s most talked-about power couples are back! Martell and Melody, Marsau and Latisha, and Maurice and Kimmi are ready to bring the love and drama, so expect the unexpected from these real estate moguls.”
