Magical Warfare Season 2 Release Date: When will it premiere?
‘Magical Warfare’ season 1 premiered on January 10, 2014, and with a total of 12 episodes, it finished airing on March 28, 2014. Since it was produced by Madhouse Studio, ‘Magical Warfare’ gained quite a lot of popularity but turned to be a very mediocre show, garnering a mixed set of reviews. In fact, even during one of his interviews, the creator of the original manga, Hisashi Suzuki, confessed that allowing an anime adaptation of his work was a big mistake.
So considering the negative response that it received after its first season, ‘Magical Warfare’ will probably never get renewed for a sequel. Moreover, since Madhouse Studio is now one of the biggest studios out there with several renowned anime like ‘One-Punch Man‘ and ‘Death Note‘ under its belt, it seems very less likely that the Studio would ever want to create a sequel of an old mediocre anime. In the unlikely scenario the anime does get renewed, we expect ‘Magical Warfare’ season 2 to only release sometime after 2023.

Magical Warfare Plot
Takeshi Nanase discovers one day that he knows very little about the world he lives in. While on his way to his kendo practice, he runs into an unconscious girl and decides to save her. As soon as she regains her consciousness, without his consent, she turns him into a magic-user. Soon Takeshi finds himself in a world full of magic users who mean no harm to the ones who don’t use magic. With his fellow magicians, he then enrolls himself into a magical academy where he and his friends learn to control their abilities and live peacefully with normal humans.
This way they try their best to further hone their abilities and later use them to bring justice and peace to their world. Magicians known as Ghost Trailers disrupt peace in their world and try to misuse their abilities to bring misfortunes in the lives of humans. So it comes down to Takeshi and his friends to get stronger and fight these Ghost Trailers to make their world a better place.

Takeshi Nanase
Takeshi Nanase is the main character of the series who is initially portrayed as an ordinary schoolboy with a dark past. He does not get along well with his family and dates his childhood friend Kurumi. After a fateful encounter, he ends up meeting a magic-user and acquires magical abilities. With this, he is able to channel all the toxic memories of his toxic past and use them to fight evil forces.
Mui Aiba
Mui Aiba is the magician who first introduces Takeshi to the world of magic. After he finds her unconscious and decides to help her out, she grants him magical abilities. She later also introduces him to the magic school where he and his friends learn to control their abilities.
