Making the Cut Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers
In the seventh episode of season 2, the remaining five designers will round up for another creative battle. As per the theme assigned, each designer will create a two-look collection: Avant-garde and Accessible, based on which they will be judged. The winner will earn exciting rewards while the weakest performer will have to pack up and leave the show.
Making the Cut Season 2 Episode 5 and 6 Recap
In the fifth episode titled ‘Avante-Garde,’ each designer was tasked with creating two denim-based outfits in collaboration with Levi’s. The first one was more of a basic accessible attire, while the other was supposed to be the showstopper, based on an Avant-Garde look. As per the norm, the winning designer would be rewarded with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities along with other incentives.
As some of them threw their best game in the mix, the others had to struggle to even survive the competition. Gary’s creative play with shapes garnered applause, and even his double-denim basic attire stood out. Although Andrea Pitter’s innovative designs gave him tough competition, Gary ended up bagging the winning look. Sadly, Joshua was the one who had to walk out. Moving on, the sixth episode titled ‘Video Campaign’ tweaked up the format, and the designers were asked to create a two-look collection reflecting the journey of their respective brands for a marketing campaign video.
Gary’s vibrant designs impressed the judges yet again. Both his eclectic and accessible looks were in perfect tandem with one another, and he ended up earning his second consecutive win. His showstopper look was then made available on the ‘Making the Cut’ store as a tribute to his impeccable performance. However, the surprise didn’t end there. Andrea’s stylish and alluring pieces also took away the judges’ breaths as she was tagged as the second winner alongside Gary. Raf was the unlucky designer to be eliminated in the sixth episode. Andrea Pitter, Gary Graham, and Andrea Salazar moved to the finale.
