Married at First Sight Season 13 Episode 2 Recap
The second episode of ‘Married at First Sight’ season 13, titled ‘Houston, We Have a Marriage,’ started with Michaela and Zack’s wedding. Michaela’s sisters were thoughtful enough to gift her their late father’s Star Trek trinket, which used to be an indispensable part of his life. Zack was nervous about not meeting his future wife’s expectations, but as soon as they set eyes on each other at the altar, all the tension diffused. After the wedding, Michaela discovered that her new husband is older than her, which didn’t affect the air of friendliness that they’ve already established.
Moving on, Johnny and Bao hosted a traditional tea ceremony to celebrate their wedding. The rest of the couples were immersed in picking out the perfect wedding attire. Myrla’s taste inclined towards an appealing and body-hugging robe, and Brett also followed her lead, buying herself a dress with a low neckline. Gil picked a quirky suit that defined his personality, while Jose also decided to go a bit extra with a pink jacket.
The first wedding of the episode was Gil and Myrla’s, but before it commenced, Myrla prayed for a husband who has a full head of hair, and Gil dreaded his future wife turning out to be a materialistic woman. At the altar, they quickly exchanged their vows without any problems until the point where Myrla turned her head for a cheek kiss instead of one on the lips. However, they realized that they are quite compatible during their post-wedding conversation except for the part where Myrla had to make peace with the presence of Gil’s dog.
