He was anointed as ‘People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2005.’ For the fans, he always evokes the air of cowboys, with their tan intact, shirt buttons undone and a smirk hanging at the corner of his lips. Matthew McConaughey is a true McConaughey, who never lest go off his McConaissance. His public image is still superimposed with his debut movie role, a peace-loving stoner in Richard Linklater’sDazed And Confused,’ named Wooderson. With the Wooderson aura hanging around his head, he churned out a number of romantic comedies, including ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,’ ‘Failure to Launch’ and ‘Fool’s Gold’ and ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.’ Both the fans and actors were eventually fed up with bouncing around on the beach or chasing women through the streets of Manhattan.

It was a time for a change for Matthew McConaughey and he took inspiration from the most obvious source, his father. He died when McConaughey was 21 and was a reputed businessman in the oil industry. 3. Sing 2 (2021)

‘Sing 2’ is the sequel to ‘Sing’, and will be looking to recreate the same magic as the first movie. It is an animated family comedy and will likely pick up from where the first film leaves off. To refresh your memory, ‘Sing’ shows a world inhabited by animals who display human-like behavior.

We have a theater owner going out of business, and to save it, he tries to organize a singing competition. However, the amount printed is wrong and way more than what he can afford. This brings in a variety of performers, and we get to know their backgrounds, where they are coming from, and why music means so much to them. Even as we get familiar with the group, we realize that the competition might not take place at all. Finally, the owner tries his best but fails.

However, the performers are way too invested in this opportunity to give up at the last moment, and the competition does take place under different circumstances. It helps the owner raise the money to keep the theater safe. The second movie might pick up on the continuing adventures of the owner, as the other animals come to assist him in further troubles. The movie is slated to be released on July 2, 2021, and will see McConaughey alongside castmembers like Scarlett Johansson and Reese Witherspoon.

HBO’s ‘True Detective‘ is one of the most talked-about shows. The third season comes as a great relief for fans as the sophomore season was a disappointment. While many fans claim season three is the best yet, the series has already gathered positive reviews and popularity for the plot and performances. For the ‘True Detective’ fans, the plot revolves around a 70-year-old ex-cop, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s, and struggling to hold on to his slippery memories. Hays is played by the Academy Award Winner Mahershala Ali, and he appears in three timelines, at age 35, 45 and 70.

After the disastrous Season 2, the show’s creator Nic Pizzolatto took over as director for all eight episodes. Jeremy Saulnier and Daniel Sackheim are the co-directors. For the McConaughey fans, the series brings back Mathew McConaughey as an Executive Producer. He was the lead character, Detective Rust Cohle, in the critically acclaimed first season.

He joins hands with Woody Harrelson to executive produce the series. The only instance when the old buddies appeared onscreen in Season 3 was when Hays was being shown an old newspaper clipping about Season 1. Fans take this as a hint given by creator Nic Pizzolatto and the writers about a possible Season 4. With McConaughey and Harrelson on board, obviously, the fans can hope for a season 4 soon.
