My Roommate is a Gumiho Episode 12 Recap

In ‘My Roommate is a Gumiho’ episode 12, Woo-yeo and Lee Dam are approached by the mountain spirit that has their best interests at heart. They are consequently warned about impending danger that might befall them at any moment. Lee Dam has a dream about her future with Gye Sun Woo, but she is confident that the red thread that binds them cannot affect her relationship with Woo-yeo.

Speaking of which, Woo-yeo later shows up to assist his lady love in a kimchi-making session. Out of affection and gratitude, Lee Dam presents him with a stack of her childhood photos. However, the male gumiho is insecure about her dynamic with Sun Woo, who has feelings for Lee Dam. Despite Sun Woo’s multiple efforts to be noticed, he keeps getting sidelined when it comes to Lee Dam and her love life. But the thread will not let this love die even though it is thoroughly one-sided. During a trip for a school activity, Lee Dam would have been hit by a speeding vehicle if not for Sun Woo’s well-timed intervention.

Later, Lee Dam sees him cry in the darkness of the night, which prompts her to check on him. But she instead ends up walking in on Sun Woo vocally confessing his feelings to himself. At that moment, the red thread appears, hinting that they’re destined to be together. Moving on, Do Jae Jin comes to terms with his feelings for Yang Hye Sun, who has been exceptionally kind to him for the last few days. Immersed in newfound admiration for the girl, he finally declares that he likes her.
