Original name of Nas is Nasir Bin Olu Dara Jones. He was born on September 14, 1973, at Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York City. He is a hip hop artist, record producer, acting professional and business owner. He has launched eight successive platinum and multi-platinum collections and was marketed over 25 million records globally. He is also a business owner through his own record; he functions as affiliate publisher of Mass Appeal journal and is the owner of a Fila shoe store.
His profession in music started in 1991, as a specialist on Main Source’s “Live at the Barbeque”. His first appearance Illmatic (1994) obtained popularity globally from both experts and the hip-hop group and is frequently rated as the best hip-hop album of all time.
