NBC’s Fall Schedule: Watch Trailers for All New Shows

NBC has unveiled the first trailers for some of its upcoming comedy and drama series for the 2019-20 season. The network has also released the complete primetime schedule for fall on Sunday. The impressive list includes spinoffs like The CW’s ‘Katy Keene,’ CBS’ ‘FBI: Most Wanted‘ and Fox’s ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ and popular franchises like The CW’s ‘Batwoman‘ and ‘Nancy Drew.’ Top-billed stars like Kim Cattrall, in Fox’s ‘Filthy Rich,’ and Jimmy Smits, for NBC’s ‘Bluff City Law,’ join the lineup.

Jimmy Smit starrer ‘Bluff City Law’ follows the brilliant lawyer Sydney Strait who reluctantly returns to her father’s firm after the unexpected death of her mother. Created by Dean Georgaris, ‘Bluff City Law’ stars Jimmy Smits, Caitlin McGee, Scott Shepherd, Barry Sloane, Michael Luwoye, MaameYaa Boafo, Stony Blyden, and Jayne Atkinson.

‘Perfect Harmony’ features a rural church choir and its newly appointed director. The man finds himself in the midst of a loose gang of singers who are out of tune with each other. The cast includes Bradley Whitford, Anna Camp, Will Greenberg, Geno Segers, Tymberlee Hill, and Rizwan Manji. ‘Perfect Harmony’ is directed by Jason Winer from a screenplay by Lesley Wake.

Sunnyside‘ tells the story of Garrett Modi, the youngest New York City Councilman ever who lives his American dream. Obsessed with the power and glamour associated with political circles, he loses the connection with the voters who elected him. An embarrassing scandal ends his career and pushes him out of the elite circles. The cast includes Kal Penn, Diana Maria Riva, Joel Kim Booster, Kiran Deol, Poppy Liu, Moses Storm, and Samba Schutte.

NBC has also revealed its fall 2019-20 schedule without many changes from last year. “We came into this season from the vantage point of extreme stability, but without any complacency,” George Cheeks and Paul Telegdy of NBC Entertainment are quoted as saying in a The Wrap report. “Our 52-week schedule takes into account the seismic shift in viewing habits, balancing short-term wins with long-term potential. Comedy is at the heart of the NBC brand, and we’ve picked up four new comedies that we think viewers will love for generations to come. Our new dramas will compel audiences to tune in week after week to our network while also delivering binge-worthy storylines, and our unparalleled alternative programs continue to delight audiences of all ages, providing enviable launch pads for many of our new shows.”
