NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 Episode 11 Recap:

The episode starts with Sebastian undercover. He goes in with a team of white nationalists, who form a sort of a militia. He is there to investigate the death of Naval Aviation Mechanic, Jeff Tegan. While undercover with the RAC (the militia), Sebastian maintains contact with his team, relaying information. Normally Pride would have gone on such a mission, but Sebastian has to step in since the former got burned.

He gets an in with the team by pretending to kill someone. Moreover, his team gets to question this supposed victim about the RAC. We learn that the head is someone called Commander, and his identity is shrouded in secrecy. As things heat up for Sebastian, he goes off the grid, but with some resourcefulness on both sides, a stream of information remains open.

We learn that the commander’s plan is to use nitrogen as a terror weapon. He wants the army to go back to the ‘right’ people and wants to make a statement against the hiring of colored people and women. Sebastian cozies up to the Commander, earning his trust. He is promoted to the position of a sniper but is also teamed up with a person who doesn’t trust him.

During the climax, the plan is almost successful, as he is forced to kill a RAC member. In the panic that follows, people from the military fair rush into the building where the Commander is waiting to release the nitrogen to kill them. Thankfully, the team neutralizes the threat, taking out the leader, and firing through the window to negate the nitrogen’s effect. Sebastian proves himself and finds that he is on the REACT team, which is the NCIS equivalent of SWAT.
