NCIS: New Orleans Season 7 Cast: Who is in it?
The ensemble cast of ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ is led by TV veteran Scott Bakula, who portrays the role of NCIS Supervisory Special Agent Dwayne “King” Pride. Rob Kerkovich stars as forensic scientist Sebastian Lund, while CCH Pounder plays medical examiner Loretta Wade. Lucas Black is cast as senior field agent Christopher LaSalle. Daryl “Chill” Mitchell plays the role of Computer specialist Patton Plame. Vanessa Ferlito appears as Tammy Gregorio.
Necar Zadegan essays the character of supervisory special agent Hannah Khoury, while Charles Michael Davis plays special agent Quentin Carter. Most members of the main cast are slated to return in ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ season 7. However, Lucas Black, who was part of the original cast, wanted to leave the show to spend more time with his family. Therefore, the fate of his character has been sealed in the sixth season.
NCIS: New Orleans Season 7 Plot: What can it be About?
Season 6 is arguably the most tumultuous in the history of ‘NCIS: New Orleans’. As mentioned above, original cast member Black left the show in this season, and Davis was brought in to portray Quentin Carter. In the impromptu finale, the team is trying to solve the mystery around the death of a Naval microbiologist, who was killed by a near-mythical bayou creature. Agent Khoury delves deep into Deputy Director Van Cleef’s history with the agency to find out why he has demoted her.
In season 7, we might finally see the long term effect of LaSalle’s death on the team, especially on Pride, for whom Black’s character was like a son. We might also see Pride in a comfortable place with his former wife Linda (Paige Turco) after their emotional conversation in the season finale. Davis’ character has been likely introduced in the show to fill the void created by Black’s departure. In an interview, showrunner Christopher Silber spoke about what direction the character might take in season 7. “It’s important for the character that he integrates into the group. I think you will see him warming up,” he told TV Guide.
