How did Papoose earn his money and wealth?
Papoose was born in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, as Shamele Mackie on March 5, 1978. He is an American rapper and songwriter who first appeared on Kool G Rap’s album “Roots of Evil” in 1998. In the following year, he released his first single “Thug Connection”/”Alphabetical Slaughter”. As of 2018, Papoose net worth is $1 million. While struggling to launch his career, which included a record deal fail, he decided to sell his own mixtapes. He also collaborated with the international producer Swissivory and western rapper C-Tru in 2014 and this track was released on MTV September 16, 2014. His personal life is also filled with controversies. His wife Remy Ma was released from New York prison in 2014. This made the couple very famous amongst their fans, which led to VH1, giving them an offer to participate in their TV show “Love & Hip Hop: New York”. The couple appeared on the 2015 season of the show.
Papoose also appeared in his wife Remy Ma’s music album “All the Way Up”, which also starred Fat Joe and French Montana. Papoose has a daughter named Dejanae Mackie. He got married to Remy Ma (Reminisce Mackie) in 2008.
