Plunderer Spoilers

Hina is a young girl who stays under the protection of her mother. She lives in a dystopian world where a human’s worth is measured by a number that is imprinted on everyone’s body. If this random number ever reaches zero, the person is dragged down to the darkness of the Abyss with no way returning. There comes a day when even Hina’s mother gets sucked into the Abyss when her number nulls down to zero. But before her mother leaves her, she hands her a glass orb with 10,000 numbers in it and also asks her to look for the Legendary Ace.

Despite being completely unaware of the world outside, Hina decides to fulfill her mother’s last wish and sets out to look for Ace. After frantically searching for the mysterious Knight for five long years, she runs into Licht, a perverted yet noble man who travels across the fabled lands of their world with his boss, Nana. Nana hates the fact that power is unevenly distributed in their world and the ones with lower counts are forced to face discrimination. This is when even Hina reveals that her count 441 represents the number of kilometers she has walked.

Further in her journey, Hina meets a sergeant major who falsely claims that he is the Ace and even tries to molest her. When she reveals her Orb to him, he tricks her into dueling with him and steals all of her numbers, leaving her with just 1. He then tells her that Ace she is looking for is long dead. Licht comes to her rescue after this and also reveals that his own number is negative 999. Shocked by this, the sergeant claims that a number that low can only be possible if one is a Ballot Holder. Litch Bach then yields his sword and proves it to all of them that he is the Legendary Ace. With this, he forces the sergeant to return all the numbers that he stole from Hina and joins her on her journey.
