Power Season 6 Episode 14 Recap

The fourteenth episode of the sixth season of ‘Power’ is all about Tate. He is drunk at a bar, saddened by the likely end of his campaign. He calls two hitmen to clean up a “mess.” The bartender calls his brother, Kamal to pick him up.

At Kamal’s house, Tate finds out that Ghost is Walsh’s running mate on the news. Soon, Blanca and Saxe offer to put Ghost behind bars, giving Tate a sliver of hope. However, he realizes that he ought to call off the hit on Ghost that he had placed at the bar.

However, when he tells the hitmen that he won’t pay them despite them having traveled to NYC, they aren’t too pleased. So, Tate goes to warn Ghost. However, Ghost taunts him about losing and Tate does not end up telling him about the hit.

The hitmen follow Ghost, but cannot kill him since he is with Tommy. One of the hitmen dies when Ghost and Tommy start to fire back. The other hitman confronts Tate about the death of his partner, who was also his father. However, when he threatens to kill Tate’s family, Kamal shoots him from behind.

When the brothers go to the police station to lodge a complaint about the hitman being a mugger, they find out about Ghost’s murder. The two go to the crime scene which is swarming with the press. Tate gives a rather impressive speech to the press. Followed by that, a little later, he is seen accepting the Democratic nomination for Governor!

Unfortunately, the person who killed Ghost is not revealed in this episode as well.
