Ray J, real name William Ray Norwood Jr., was born on 17 January 1981 in Mississippi, US to Sonja Bates-Norwood and Willie Norwood. His elder sister named Brandy is a famous recording artist. In his early life, he moved from Mississippi to LA, California.
Ray J is not only an American singer but is also a songwriter, television personality, actor as well as rapper. In the year 1989, he started working in television commercials. Ray J later grabbed a role in the television show ‘The Sinbad Show’ from the year 1993 to 1994.
