Regina Hall was born on December 12, 1970. She is an American film and television actress, who is known for her role in the series of Scary movies. In 1997, Hall performed in her first television commercial at the age of 26. Her television career started with a character on the soap opera Loving, and brief appearances on the Fox’s New York Undercover. She also did a small part in 1999 film The Best Man. Hall rose to stardom with her role in the horror movie Scary Movie and its sequels portraying the role of horrible, Brenda Meeks, and the TV movie Disappearing Acts. In 2001, Hall was cast in the role of Coretta Lipp on the prime-time sitcom Ally McBeal. In the following year, she featured in the action-drama Paid in Full. In 2012, she portrayed the role of Candace Hall in movie Think Like a Man, a romantic movie based on the book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man. Hall acted in the film About Last Night in 2014, starring opposite Kevin Hart. She and Hart’s chemistry in the movie was appreciated on screen and the two were credited with having the hilarious lines in the flick.

Hall reenacted her role as Candace Hall in Think Like a Man Too. She exposed that the cast members of the movie partied soon before the movie’s release. In an interview with a magazine, she said, “Everyone kind of had their fun, I’m not gonna lie. We went out, we gambled. Kevin parties. There were parties, and we all went. It was good fun” In the film People Place Things released in 2015, Hall had a lead role as the love interest of a freshly divorced man.

In 2016, Hall was cast in the movie, Barbershop: The Next Cut. She portrayed the role of Angie, one of the hair stylists, along with Common, Ice Cube, and Eve. In 2017, Hall starred in the comedy film Girls Trip, which became a critical and commercial success and helped her achieve a lot of fame and appreciation worldwide.
