Robert Michael Schneider was born on October 31, 1963, in San Francisco, California, the U.S. His parents were Pilar (née Monroe) who was a former kindergarten teacher and an ex-school board president and Marvin Schneider who was a real estate broker. He is a 54-year-old American Comedian, Screenwriter, Actor, Film director, Voice Actor, Film Producer and Television producer. He graduated in 1982 from Terra Nova High School and then went to San Francisco State University.

He was first married to model “London King” in 1988 and they divorced two years later in 1990, then he got married to Helena Schneider in 2002 and they divorced in 2005. He is currently married to Patricia Azarcoya Arce who is a television producer in Beverly Hills, California since 2011 and has a daughter named Miranda Scarlett Schneider, born in 2012 and their second daughter Madeline Robbie Schneider was born in September 2016.

His first break in 1987, was with an appearance on “Late Night with David Letterman”. In 1988, he was hired at “Saturday Night Live” as a writer and eventually went on to be a full cast member of the show. He played roles like “Tiny Elvis” and “Orgasm Guy” from 1990 to 1994. He can also be seen in the “The Bad Boys of Saturday Night Live”. He also plays many recurring roles on SNL like “The Richmeister”, who is an office worker who keeps annoying the people who come to the printing machines beside his desk by giving them weird nicknames as they take prints and copies, “Carlo” from the Il Cantore Restaurant sketches and “The Sensitive Naked Man” -a nude man who always gives advice to other characters.

After SNL he was seen in movies and Sitcoms like “Coach”, “Men Behaving Badly”. In 1999, he was starred in a feature film named “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo” and its sequel “Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo”. He won the 2005 Worst Actor Razzie Award for this film. In 2006,  he was seen in “The Benchwarmers” and in 2008 in “Big Stan”

He is a San Francisco Giants fan and also good friends with actor Adam Sandler. He is featured in the song “Original Prankster”, by The Offspring, with his trademark line, “You can do it”.
