When her ex-boyfriend Billy drops an explosive text on her phone, she is left with two choices – Either forget about the text and continue living her bland life or carry out the pact she made with Billy, 17 years ago.

Well, Ruby quickly boards a cross-country train from Grand Central Terminal. Following the pact, the two ex-lovers commence their adventure from New York to L.A. to do some soul-searching and to give their relationship another chance. However, their road is bumpy and filled with multiple obstacles. Ruby is concupiscent but is married and has kids. Therefore, she is continuously worried whether she has taken the right decision by dropping everything in a flash.

Although Billy is a successful life guru and an author, deep down, he is fighting the inner demons that constantly tell him he isn’t good enough. Ruby and Billy expose their flawed personalities to this vulnerable escapade, rolling the dice on where it leads the two of them. As their journey progresses, they manage to reignite the lost chemistry, but reality kicks in from time to time, reminding them of the high stakes involved in their decision. Where will their relationship stand by the end of their week-long adventure? Will they be able to finish it or succumb to the pressure of their life back home?
