Scarlet Nexus Episode 6: What to Expect?

‘Scarlet Nexus’ is a sci-fi military action TV anime that is inspired by a role-playing game developed by Bandai Namco Studios and Tose. The show centers upon the technologically advanced human race in an alternate reality that has successfully pushed the limits of the human mind using a substance found in the brain and formed a hierarchical society based on it. However, their peace is threatened by the grotesque brain-eating organism called Others which has necessitated the formation of Other Suppression Force.

It marks the beginning of an existential struggle that is full of mysteries and can get anyone hooked. The anime first premiered on July 1, 2021, and here is everything you need to know about its upcoming episode.

Scarlet Nexus Episode 6 Release Date

‘Scarlet Nexus’ episode 6, titled ‘A Doomed Tomorrow’ or ‘Hametsu no Ashita,’ is all set to premiere on August 5, 2021, in Japan. It will air on Tokyo MX, BS11, SUN, and AT-X at different times. The show is animated by the Japanese animation studio Sunrise, with Youichi Katou, Toshizo Nemoto, and Akiko Inoue overseeing the scripts.

Hiroyuki Nishimura has helmed the directorial team, and the characters are designed by Yuuji Itou. The series music is composed by Hironori Anazawa. THE ORAL CIGARETTES performed the opening theme track “Red Criminal.”

‘Scarlet Nexus’ is licensed by Funimation for streaming outside Asia. Scarlet Nexus Episode 6 Spoilers

In episode 5, titled ‘Karen’s Revolt’ or ‘Karen no Hanran,’ Others infiltrate the center of Suoh after Arahabaki, the computer system that controls the region, shuts down for some unknown reason. With the defense system taken down, it becomes an easy target of the brain-eating grotesque organisms. As Yuito and the rest of his team struggles against the Others, it soon becomes clear that Major Karen is attempting a Coup d’état.

He broadcast a message to all civilians while the system is down and says that he can save them from the tyranny of the New Himukan government, which plans to form a surveillance society. Karen claims that although the government has used Psynet for the betterment of society but Arahabaki, the computer system behind it, accesses all sorts of information using the psionic powers of the citizens.

He alleges that while offering a life of comfort, they plan to make the people docile to exploit them as they wish. Karen appeals that the citizens should rise up against their tyranny to form a better society. In the meantime, Yuito looks for his father, but when he finds him, he lay motionless in a sitting position while Kasane is standing in front of him holding a knife. Instead of answering Yuito, she runs straight towards him with the knife in hand – prepared to attack without any remorse.

In episode 6, titled ‘A Doomed Tomorrow’ or ‘Hametsu no Ashita, ‘ Yuito may have to fight Kasane to save himself. It may be revealed that his father is dead, and the world as he knows it is beginning to fall apart because of Karen’s revolt.
