Schitt’s Creek S06 E07: Everything we Know

‘Schitt’s Creek‘ has been one of the funniest sitcoms of the 2010s. The Candian show has been able to nail small-town situational comedy effectively and manages to consistently feel suited to modern sensibilities.

Created by the father-son duo, Eugene and Dan Levy (who are also principal cast members), ‘Schitt’s Creek’ follows a wealthy family who loses all their riches and is forced to move into an ugly village named after the show’s title. In the last few episodes, the show has mainly dealt with the premiere of the family’s maternal head, Moira’s movie. The fifth episode revolves around the actual premiere while the sixth one deals with the premiere’s aftermath.

Schitt’s Creek Season 6 Episode 6 Recap:

The sixth episode of the sixth season of ‘Schitt’s Creek’ begins with a morning talk show. Moira is being interviewed on the show regarding the premiere of her movie. It turns out that, despite the hilariously unfortunate incident during the premiere, the event turned out to be a major success. Its video has been trending with two million views and Alexis masterfully portrayed the incident to be a “carefully orchestrated stunt.”

Ted video calls Alexis from Galapagos and compliments Moira after having seen her film. However, Alexis has to end the call soon to be able to help Moira memorize her co-stars’ names. Later, it is revealed that Alexis has received a room full of flowers from several PR agencies and the fictional streaming service, Interflix due to the success of her “stunt.” Now, she has to decide whether she would go to Galapagos or stay in Schitt’s Creek to advance her career.

Luckily, Ted turns out to be extremely supportive and tells her that she should focus on her career. On the other hand, Ronnie asks Johnny and Roland to arrange for a room at the motel for Bob. Bob has been heartbroken after his divorce with Gwen. Johnny proposes to help Bob find someone at the bar by serving as his wingman alongside Ronnie and Roland. The four of them act out roleplaying scenes first.

At the bar, Ronnie manages to pick up a girl for herself and find one for Bob. Meanwhile, Jake (the one who was in a relationship with Stevie and David at the same time, remember?) shows up at David and Patrick’s to deliver their coffee table. He starts to low-key flirt with Patrick and invites the couple over for some whiskey (with an implication for a threesome).  When they go over to Jake’s, they find out that there are more people there, including Stevie. David and Patrick leave the party together, without having a threesome with Jake.
