‘Schooled‘ is an ABC sitcom that is set in the ’90s. The show is a spin-off of another period sitcom, ‘The Goldbergs’ and returned for its second season in September last year.
Similar to ‘The Goldbergs,’ ‘Schooled’ takes place in the 1990s and focuses on the character of Lainey Lewis. She is depicted to have returned to Jenkintown, Pennsylvania after her ambitions of a career in the rock n roll industry do not pan out. Fortunately, she finds a job as a music teacher in her alma mater, the William Penn Academy. She accepts it immediately, kicking off the sitcom which is primarily set in the school.
‘Schooled’ chronicles the everyday conflicts of the students and teachers of the William Penn Academy comically. Some of the central characters on the show include Rick Mellor, the gym teacher and coach and another teacher, C.B. Brown.
