Seth Green started his life as an actor at the age of 6 with the sketch comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live.’ His uncle, who was working as a casting director, paved the way to his niece’s acting debut. Four years later, Green made his feature film debut in the comedy-drama ‘The Hotel New Hampshire.’ The child actor grabbed attention and landed back-to-back small roles on television and films in the next couple of years. But it was the commercials he appeared for popular brands like Kodak and Burger King that made him immensely popular.

Green’s big breakthrough was the 1987 Woody Allen movie ‘Radio Days.’ His portrayal of the character Joe earned him widespread critical acclaim and popularity. 5. Guardians of the Galaxy (2015 — )

Marvel’s animated series ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ features Seth Green as the recurring character of Howard the Duck. Green is the only character who crosses over to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with his cameos as Howard the Duck and comes back to the series. Howard the Duck is one of the unusual characters of Marvel Universe. Introduced in the Marvel comics in 1973, the anthropomorphic waterfowl is known for her higher cognitive and intellectual capacities. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ was premiered on Disney XD in August 2015. According to Marvel, season 3 follows the Guardians of the Galaxy in their new adventure into unknown universes. They enjoy the new popularity after booking Thanos but receive a blow from the Collector. They also encounter some new friends and old enemies on the way. Disney XD airs the season finale on June 9, 2019.

4. Family Guy (1999 —)

Fox’s flag bearer animated series ‘Family Guy‘ enters its 18th season this year. Debuted in January 1999, the iconic series wrapped up its 17th season on May 12, 2019. The plot follows the central character Peter Griffin, a blue-collar worker of Irish descent, and his wife Lois who is a piano teacher. The couple has three children, the teenage daughter Meg Griffin, teenage son Chris Griffin and the little Stewie Griffin. Brian, the anthropomorphic family dog, rounds off the members of the Griffin family.

Seth Green lends his voice to the characters of Chris Griffin and Neil Goldman. Chris was 13 years old during the first three seasons and turned 14 in season 9. Neil, son of Mort and Muriel Goldman, is the nerd in the high school. He is haunted by his acne and glasses and had lost his mother in an accident. Seth MacFarlane voices the characters of Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Brian, Glenn Quagmire, Tom Tucker, and other additional voices. Alex Borstein lends his voices to Lois Griffin and others. Mila Kunis voices Meg Griffin while Mike Henry lends his voice to Cleveland Brown and Herbert. ‘Family Guy’ is created by Seth MacFarlane for Fox, which renewed the series for an 18th season in February 2019, reports Variety.

3. Changeland (2019)

The upcoming buddy-comedy film ‘Changeland’ marks Seth Green’s feature directorial debut. He also stars in the movie alongside Breckin Meyer. According to Deadline, the plot follows Brandon (played by Green), a desperate husband who pays for a second honeymoon to save his failing marriage. But on the eve of their anniversary, Brandon discovers that his wife is cheating on him. Out of despair and anger, Brandon goes for the prepaid honeymoon to Thailand with his best friend Dan (played by Mayer). Once landed in Thailand, the experiences and people they met start to turn the course of their lives. The two friends realize that there are many ways to discover the meaning and purpose of our life. And, no tragedy is a tragedy unless it breaks you into a million pieces. The other cast includes Brenda Song, Clare Grant, Macaulay Culkin, Rose Williams, Kedar Williams-Stirling, and Randy Orton. The film is directed by Seth Green from his own script. ‘Changeland’ is scheduled for a June 7, 2019 release.

2. Star Wars: Detours (2019 —)

‘Star Wars: Detours’ is the long-awaited animated series, billed as a comedic take on the ‘Star Wars‘ universe. But Disney’s acquisition of Lucasfilms in 2012 put projects including ‘Star Wars: Detours’ on hiatus. Seth Green, who leads the voice cast, revealed in 2013 that they had finished 39 episodes and around 62 scripts so far. Though the current status of the series is “abandoned,” chances are high that Lucasfilms will turn up with a brand-new look of the show as Disney is keen to announce several ‘Star Wars’ projects as part of its new strategy for subsidiaries and acquisitions. Seth Green also serves as one of the executive producers of the series. It is created by the legendary George Lucas. The other members in the voice cast include Dee Bradley Baker, Anthony Daniels, Ahmed Best, Billy Dee Williams, Seth MacFarlane, Felicia Day, Zachary Levi, Catherine Taber, Nat Faxon, and Weird Al Yankovic.

1. Crossing Swords (TBA)

Seth Green executive produces the upcoming stop-motion animated series ‘Crossing Swords’ for Hulu, reports Deadline. The plot follows Patrick, a farmer who lands a dream job at the royal palace. But he soon realizes that the country is run by a nexus of corrupt, evil and lecherous men. To make his situation more strenuous, his criminal family members take up arms in rise against him. Nicholas Hoult lends his voices to Patrick. The voice cast also includes Luke Evans, Seth Green, Breckin Meyer, and Tony Hale. Green executive produces the series along with ‘Robot Chicken’ writer Tom Root, Stoopid Buddy Stoodios’ John Harvatine IV, Matthew Senreich, and Eric Towner.
