‘Sonny Boy’ is an original science fiction isekai mystery TV anime that revolves around 36 students who one day discover that their school is now traversing through alternate dimensions. Furthermore, several of them seem to have gained incredible powers. As they try to adapt to their new situation, those who want to instill some semblance of order in their lives and those who want to live free inevitably clash. Sonny Boy Episode 2 Release Date
‘Sonny Boy’ episode 2, titled ‘Aliens,’ is set to release on July 23, 2021, in Japan. It will be available at various times on Tokyo MX, KBS, SUN, BS Asahi, and RAB. Studio Madhouse developed the series, and Shingo Natsume led both the directorial team and writing staff. Hisashi Eguchi and Norifumi Kugai handled the character designs. GING NANG BOYZ sang the series theme track, “Shounen Shoujo.”

Sonny Boy Episode 2 Spoilers
In the series premiere, Nagara, Mizuho, Nozomi, and 33 other students suddenly find their schools trapped in a void. They start to think that either the world around the school has disappeared or the school has been taken out of the world. Several of the students seem to have superpowers. In the absence of teachers and parents, some of them start to vandalize the school. The student subsequently council decides that they must choose a leader to bring some order.
Cap, the leader of the school’s baseball team, is chosen to lead the entire school. With the help of Hoshi and Pony, he introduces several laws that the students must follow. If someone refuses to do so, he penalizes them with his power, which seemingly forces a wrongdoer to perform certain tasks, and a black “X” sign appears on their faces. Cap seemingly punishes Asakaze, the leader of the vandals, and Nozomi with this ability. However, during his second confrontation with Asakaze, this power doesn’t seem to work, so he hits the other boy with his baseball bat, and thus earning a penalty himself. It is then revealed that the power to give a penalty actually belongs to Hoshi. As a punishment, Hoshi forces Cap to strip and leapfrog across the school’s roof.
The episode ends as Nozomi, seeking freedom from the rules, jumps off the school into the void. Nagara tries to catch her but falls along with her. The scene around them changes, and they find themselves and the school floating on the sea. In episode 2, the students will likely try to find out more about their new surroundings. The conflict between those who want order and those who want freedom might continue.
