‘Spies in Disguise’ is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated buddy comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios, 20th Century Fox Animation and Chernin Entertainment. Directed by Nick Bruno and Troy Quane, it is based on Lucas Martell’s 2009 animated short ‘Pigeon: Impossible’.
‘Spies in Disguise’ Cast:
The movie will star Will Smith as Lance Sterling, who is described as “the world’s most awesome spy” and Tom Holland as Walter, a socially inept scientific genius who designs gadgets for Lance. Rest of the cast is still under wraps and is expected to be revealed as the work on the film progresses.

It was announced on October 9, 2017 that development was underway on a film based on the animated short ‘Pigeon: Impossible’, with Tom Holland and Will Smith lending their voices to the lead characters Lance and Walter. One is a super cool and charming spy, and the other invents the super cool gadgets Lance uses. When an event happens, they must learn to rely on each other like never before in order to save the world.
It is expected that both the characters might go on covert missions to justify the title! With the spy thriller genre already having its fair share of content, it will interesting to see how animated content will do justice to the space. This won’t be the first time for either Will Smith or Tom Holland to provide voice-over work for movies. Holland has lent his voice to the UK release of Hiromasa Yonebayashi’s ‘The Secret World of Arrietty’, and Will Smith has done voice work for Dreamworks’ ‘Shark Tale’ as well as ‘Bad Boys: The Animated Series’. It will be interesting to watch out for the kind of camaraderie the two characters will share. There are numerous examples to look around : James Bond and Q, or Sherlock Holmes and John Watson.
