It is evident that the Empire is stripping away freedom from across the galaxy, and their well-organized military is making it easier for them to impose their rule.
As the Empire’s influence grows, it will become harder and harder for the Bad Batch to survive. The Kaminoans are not going to give up their pursuit of Omega anytime soon, so the Bad Batch can’t afford to let their guard down.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch Episode 10 Recap
The tenth episode of ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ is titled ‘Common Ground’ and opens on Ord Mantell. Hunter and the rest of the group keep a low profile after their recent skirmishes with the Empire. However, Cid gives them a risky job that could potentially put them back on the Empire’s radar. Hunter makes Omega sit out the mission and leaves her in Cid’s care.
The Bad Batch head to Raxus, the former center of the Separatist Government, where they are supposed to extract the planet’s senator Avi Singh, who is under house arrest for not aligning with the Empire. Echo is suspicious of Singh’s droid GS-8, who has hired the group for the mission. The Bad Batch make their way past the Imperial guards. Meanwhile, Captain Bragg is forcing Singh to submit to the Empire, and she isn’t afraid to use brute force to do so. On Ord Mantell, Omega plays a holographic game for Cid and earns some money.
The Clone Force 99 arrives and saves Singh before a Torture Droid can harm him. The group escapes narrowly from the Imperial Clone Troopers thanks to Singh’s advice. Singh contemplates staying back for his people and continuing the fight against the Empire’s oppressive and unjust occupation of their planet. However, GS-8 and Echo convince him to go on the run so that he can return under better circumstances. The Bad Batch returns to Ord Mantell, where they learn that Omega has managed to earn enough to pay off the group’s debt to Cid.
