‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ episode 11 is titled ‘Devil’s Deal’ and opens on Ryloth where resistance leader Cham Syndulla has reluctantly agreed to work with Admiral Rampart and the Empire after a new mining facility is announced by Orn Free Taa, the planet’s greedy senator. Meanwhile, Cham’s daughter, Hera, a young girl interested in becoming a pilot, works with Cham’s trusted ally, Gobi Glie.
Glie is working on building resistance against the Empire. However, unbeknownst to Glie, a recovered Crosshair is keeping a close eye on him. Hera accompanies Glie on a mission to retrieve some blasters for the resistance sent by Cid. The Clone Force 99 arrives with the blasters. Hera and Omega bond over their shared love for spaceships. However, as Hera and Glie leave after the handover of the blasters, Crosshair shoots down their ship.
The duo is arrested, accused of treason, and will be punished without a trial. The word of this reaches Cham, and Hera’s mother, Eleni, rush to the scene. Cham and Eleni lead an attack on the convoy transporting Hera and Glie. Crosshair shoots Taa, and Cham and Eleni are framed for his attempted assassination. As the couple is taken into custody, Hera and her trusted droid, Chopper, flee the scene.
