Stargirl Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
In ‘Stargirl’ season 2 premiere, titled ‘Summer School: Chapter One,’ the JSA has been patrolling Blue Valley, but things have been quiet since the ISA’s defeat. Pat tries to convince Courtney to focus on her personal life. Yolanda has been trying to deal with the guilt of Brainwave’s death. Beth’s parents are getting divorced, and she focuses all her energy on rebooting Chuck to distract herself. At school, it is revealed that Courtney failed two classes and will have to attend summer school. This changes the family’s summer vacation plans, and Courtney is grounded from being Stargirl for two weeks.
Meanwhile, the man who resembles Sylvester Pemberton arrives in Nevada looking for Pat. Courtney reconnects with Cameron, but Yolanda advises her to keep her distance. A mysterious girl attacks Courtney in the middle of the night, and the two fight. The girl reveals herself to be Green Lantern Alan Scott’s daughter. Cindy retrieves files about some teenagers with superpowers from the ISA lair and intends to reform the ISA as Injustice Unlimited.
