Ted Lasso Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers

‘Ted Lasso’ season 2 episode 3 is titled ‘Do The Right-est Thing’ and seems to be named after one of the coach’s many homely yet inspiring phrases. It likely refers to some form of dilemma that he or the team may encounter in the upcoming episode, about which the unbelievably agreeable Coach Ted decides to “do the right thing.” Considering the heaviest issue weighing on the team at the moment is their string of 8 draws and no victories in the current season, the upcoming episode 3 could see them winning a match through unfair means but then owning up to it, hence doing the right thing but also missing out on a victory.

The other exciting plot point to look forward to is Ted and Dr. Sharon’s session together, where the two will doubtless try to “out analyze” each other. The brilliant psychologist seems to be the only one who can see what’s going on behind Ted Lasso’s infectious smile, and we will likely be made privy to some fascinating findings that she makes about his deeper personality. We will also, most likely, get to finally see Jamie Tartt and Dani Rojas play on the same team together, along with Sam, who has become a much more confident player this season.

Ted Lasso Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

Episode 2 opens with Jamie getting booted off the reality show and then told that he’s no longer wanted by any of the top European teams. With no other options, he returns to AFC Richmond, much to the alarm of the players who have suffered due to him in the past. It is an especially tense scene when he first walks onto the field for a training session with his former team, and even Rebecca looks on from her office. We, however, don’t get to see how the training goes.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sharon insists on watching one of the earlier team practice sessions and informs Ted that the club’s attitude is healthy and respectful. However, considering they haven’t won a single game this season, she claims that Ted is most likely under a lot of pressure and that they should sit down and talk, to which he readily agrees (as he does to most things).

Finally, but grudgingly, Roy agrees to take up an offer to become a sports commentator and is immediately loved by viewers for his harsh but frank (and quite vulgar) opinions about football teams. His girlfriend Keeley soon begins getting messages that ask for Roy to go back on the show after his stellar first performance.
