‘The Aquatope on White Sand’ or ‘Shiroi Suna no Aquatope’ is a slice-of-life original TV anime. It revolves around two women, Kukuru Misakino and Fuuka Miyazawa, and how they affect each other’s life while working at an aquarium. Since she was a child, Fuuka wanted to be an idol. But that dream never materialized. She quits and leaves Tokyo. She travels to Okinawa on a whim and eventually gets a job at Gama Gama Aquarium, where Kukuru is the acting director. Realizing that Kukuru has big dreams for the aquarium, Fuuka decides to help her in every way she can. The anime premiered on July 9, 2021. The Aquatope on White Sand Episode 5 Release Date
‘The Aquatope on White Sand’ episode 5, titled ‘Mother’s Visit,’ is set to release on August 6, 2021, in Japan. The episode will be available at various times on Tokyo MX, BS Fuji, MBS, and RBC. Studio P.A. Works developed the series, with Toshiya Shinohara helming the directorial team and Yuuko Kakihara leading the writing staff. Yoshiaki Dewa provided the music, and Yuki Akiyama and U35 handled the character designs. ARCANA PROJECT sang the opening theme track “Tayutae, Nanairo,” while Mia REGINA sang the ending theme track, “Tsukiumi no Yurikago.”

The Aquatope on White Sand Episode 5 Spoilers
In episode 4, Fuuka continues to get calls from her mother. Kukuru tells her grandfather that she wants to restart the touch pool facility, where the visitors are allowed to have physical contact with the animals. Her grandfather gives his consent. Later that day, Kukuru announces her plans to the rest of the staff. Different employees are put in charge of different activities. Fuuka is designated to be the attendant, which will involve interacting with visitors and giving them information on various sea creatures. This prompts Fuuka to learn more about the biology and the eating habits of the animals they have at the aquarium.
Fuuka becomes terrified after finding a large, bearded man inside a closed room at the aquarium. He is later revealed to be Gouden Gousuke, one of the employees there. He happens to recognize Fuuka and later tells Karin, Kai, and Tsukimi about it. They become curious and ask Kukuru why an idol will quit her job and come to work at an aquarium. Kukuru realizes that she doesn’t know the answer either.
After the touch pool facility opens, some visitors recognize Fukka, making her panic. Kukuru comes to her rescue and takes her into her office. There, Fuuka realizes that she is working at Gama Gama because she likes Kukuru and wants to help her achieve her dreams. The episode ends with the arrival of Fuuka’s mother. In episode 5, Fuuka will likely have to stand her ground to prevent her mother from taking her home. We might see some glimpses of her life as an idol.
