The Bachelorette Season 16 Episode 9 Recap

Episode 9 kicks off from the cliffhanger ending of episode 8 — Noah vs Bennett. Well, Tayshia is annoyed with Noah for questioning her integrity and decides to send him home. But she does not give the rose to Noah either and says that he is not off the hook yet. At the Rose Ceremony, Brendan, Riley, Blake, Ivan, Noah, Ben, and Zac are in the Circle of Safety. We say our farewells to Ed, Demar, and Spencer.

The next morning, JoJo makes an announcement, “Next week is Hometown Week. Tayshia will be meeting your families.” Ben goes on the first one-on-one date with Tayshia and they indulge in an electric-scooter scavenger hunt! On the group date, Zac, Brendan, Ivan, Noah, and Riley, we have the lie-detector date! When it is revealed that Zac had cheated earlier, Tayshia warns him that she has zero-tolerance for infidelity. But when Zac informs her that the incident happened when he was in sixth grade, Tayshia is relieved.

Finally, during decision time, Tayshia says: “I feel like I learned so much about every single one of you. I don’t want to give out a rose just to give out a rose… I think I just need a little bit more time as to who to give this to.” And then, we have a surprise! Bennett is back!
