The Bachelorette Season 17 Episode 8 Recap
In the latest episode of season 17, titled ‘Men Tell All,’ the most popular men of the season came back to answer questions that fans needed answers to. But before that, Katie was super excited about the Hometown dates. She wanted to meet Michael’s son, James, who is the biggest part of his life. Things, however, took a tragic turn when Michael suddenly chose to opt out of the show to be with his son, who, on a video call, said: “I know what the problem is. Maybe daddy left because he don’t want to see me.” Of course, he had to quit.
Although she was inconsolably heartbroken, Katie ultimately had to move on. In the tell-all session, the men expressed how much they all disliked Carl, Cody, Thomas, and Hunter. According to the men, Carl was a master manipulator of this season, while Thomas and Hunter just wanted to be famous. Moving on, Connor was one of Katie’s favorite contestants, and the pair were off on a good start, but as soon as they kissed, something felt lacking. On the other hand, Andrew S expressed that he is still confused as to why Katie chose to send him out.
Michael was dear to Katie, but circumstances didn’t work in their favor. Katie liked him to the extent that she even envisioned a future with him, and we all believe that love always finds a way. At least it did for the co-host Kaitlyn and her fiancé Jason who came out just then and revealed footage featuring his proposal to her on set. After that, Katie got the chance to meet the men she left behind, including Michael. Katie admitted that she has finally moved on and has no regrets about anything. She revealed that Thomas was ushered out because she didn’t trust him.
