The Red Team, reeling after the recent elimination of Kat, seems to have lost all signs of self-esteem. But Erica walks in to boost their confidence. There’s also one more factor to note. When you gain muscle while replacing fat, even then the scale won’t change. But this means that you are gaining strength and losing unnecessary calories.
So Erica advises her team not to lose heart and to additionally concentrate on eating right. Some of the things that Erica always has on her diet chart is a rice cake, fruits, and loads of nuts and seeds. But fast-food and junk are not the ideal options to deal with sudden hunger pangs.
Well, that being said and done, Erica leads her team to the gym. She trains them on reps and targets muscles, which the contestants did not even know existed in the first place! Jim tells that he is happy with the way he is able to pump iron now.
Now, coming to this week’s tasks, the first one is the Over-Under Challenge. It includes an obstacle course, packed with mud, water, and tires. Teri faces the greatest difficulty in this round, splashing in and out of the wet mud. Erica then teams up with her to work on the latter’s body.
In the last chance workout, Teri lifts hand weights from a bench and does several other workouts to torch out those extra calories. In the weigh-in, Teri pulls a surprising six pounds and Jim loses 13. And this time, the Blue Team loses, with Megan being evicted this week.
