The Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 14 Recap:

The episode begins with Shaun and Carly engaging in an early morning quickie and the latter still jealous of her partner’s friendship with Lea. They are a bit late for work where Shaun needs to attend to a patient named Kayley, suffering from a sore throat. The next patient complains of extreme abdominal pain and is attended to by Alex.

After her test results arrive, the doctor deduces that she has a distended colon. Earlier, she had only suffered from Urinary Tract Infection. She is prescribed antibiotics and admitted to the hospital. Since she is a single mum, Clara informs her that a social media worker will tend to her child.

While Shaun consults with Marcus and Morgan about Kayley, Claire converses with a little girl who says that her mom is ill since she drank her poop(!). Morgan and Shaun next inform Kayley that she would need 37 more tests to confirm her diagnosis. An upset Kayley has an instant stroke. Alex checks on the woman with abdominal pains and tells that she needs surgery. On the other hand, Shaun is able to save Kayley, who turns out to be a social media influencer.

And much to Shaun’s annoyance, his pictures go viral on social media — thanks to Kayley. When Shaun meets Carly for lunch, the latter reveals that she knows Shaun had lunch with Lea the day before and she is not really happy about it. Shaun reassures her that they will work out their issues.
