Taking this into consideration, we can expect ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ season 4 to release no sooner than December 2021.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 Cast: Who is in it?

Rachel Brosnahan, who plays the titular Miriam “Midge” Maisel, leads the cast for the series. When her husband, Joel Maisel (Michael Zegen), leaves her for his secretary, Midge’s career kicks off as a stand-up comedian. Alex Borstein plays her manager, Susie Myerson, who first comes across Midge at her workplace – The Gaslight Cafe. Marin Hinkle and Tony Shalhoub essay the role of Midge’s parents in the series – Rose and Abraham “Abe” Weissman.

Kevin Pollak and Caroline Aaron play Joel’s parents – Moishe and Shirley Maisel – respectively. Jane Lynch essays the role of Sophie Lennon, a successful stand-up comic. All the main cast members will reprise their roles in the fourth season, except for a few exceptions and several new faces.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 4 Plot: What can it be About?

In the third season, Midge Maisel is on her first national tour – opening for Shy Baldwin – with performances scheduled in places like Miami and Las Vegas. Following this, her family has no choice but to take her career and its implications seriously. The season enters the 1960s that bring about many changes in the lives of the Maisel and the Weissman family.

The eighth and final episode of season 3 shows Susie in a legal rut, leaving Joel to be the manager for Midge’s finances. Midge is surprised when she lands a gig that gives her the opportunity to perform on the same stage as Moms Mabley at the Apollo Theatre. Although Maisel proves to be a big hit among the audience, she ruffles the feather of her employer-friend Shy Baldwin, which eventually gets her kicked off the tour.

Season 4 will pick up from here and bring in some of what the world was experiencing during the 60s, possibly including the Vietnam War, the assassination of John F. Kennedy, and the Cuban Missiles Crises. Season 4 could also see Susie’s gambling habit becoming an issue, which Midge knows nothing of, as of now.
