‘The Rookie’ Season 2 premiered on September 29, 2019, on ABC, and concluded on May 10, 2020. It consisted of 20 episodes with the runtime of 40-45 minutes each.

The Rookie Season 3 Plot: What Can it be About?
‘The Rookie’ follows the story of John Nolan, who becomes the oldest rookie at the Los Angeles Police Department. Over the course of the story, he learns to let go of his insecurity, learns the ropes of the job, and uses his personal experience to solve various cases. At the end of the second season, he discovers that Detective Nick Armstrong, his friend, and mentor, is the dirty cop that they had been looking for. Because he needs more proof to corroborate this story, he finds help in a very unexpected place.
In the final episode, he speaks with Rosalind Dyer, a convicted serial killer who was caught by Armstrong. She tells him things about his friend that changes everything he thought he knew. In the next season, we will find him processing this new information, see how it changes his relationship with Armstrong, and how it affects the workplace, once everyone comes to know about it.
