‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ is an upcoming American 3D computer animated comedy film produced by Illumination Entertainment. It is directed by Chris Renaud and written by Brian Lynch, and a sequel to the 2016 film The Secret Life of Pets.

Most of the cast members will reprise their roles except for Louis C.K., who will be replaced by Patton Oswalt. Additional cast members include Tiffany Haddish, Nick Kroll, Pete Holmes and Harrison Ford. ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ Plot:
‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ will follow the 2016’s blockbuster about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. There is no information at all about the premise of the movie. The first ‘Secret Life of Pets’, released in 2016, went on to gross a massive $875 million at the worldwide box office. The movie followed a terrier named Max whose pampered life becomes disrupted when his owner brings home a stray Duke, a large mongrel from the pound, leaving Max jealous because of her divided focus on Duke. Louis C.K. voiced the lead role of Max in the original film, but after his sexual assault controversy, the actor has been dropped from the sequel.
Harrison Ford has joined the movie for his first-ever role in an animated feature. Well into his seventies now, Ford shows no signs of slowing down as an actor. Ford recently delivered a terrific performance in 2017’s ‘Blade Runner 2049’, where he reprised the role of Rick Deckard, which he originated in 1982’s ‘Blade Runner’. Given Ford’s long career, it’s actually hard to believe this is the first time he’s ever done voice work in an animated feature. Ford’s only significant prior experience in animation came long, long ago when he voiced Han Solo for the cartoon segment of the infamous ‘Star Wars Holiday Special’.
‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ Release Date:
The Secret Life of Pets 2 is scheduled to be released on June 7, 2019 by Universal Pictures. It was previously set for an July 13, 2018 release, then on July 3, 2019.
