The Voice Season 18 Episode 6 Recap:
The judges bring in some outside help, as Kelly Clarkson gets assistance from Dua Lipa, Blake Shelton is helped by Bebe Rexha, Ella Mai helps out John Legend, and Nick gets his brothers, Joe and Kevin, to help him. First off, we have Todd Michael Hall versus Joei Fulco, from Team Blake, performing “The Best” by Tina Turner.
Both Joei and Todd are fantastic, but Blake picks the former. He hits the ‘save’ button for Todd, who’s happy to stay on for now, even if it means facing a four-way knockout, down the road. Team Kelly sees Chelle and Anaya Cheyenne performing “Scared To Be Lonely” by Dua Lipa and Martin Garrix.
Although both girls are confident, Anaya delivers a stunning performance, emerging as the winner. There are no steals and saves. Team Nick sees Joanna Serenko going up against Roderick Chambers. They perform “When the party’s over” by Billie Eilish. Both performers sing their hearts out, and it’s a tough choice for the judges. Roderick is the winner, and Joanna goes to Team Legend.
As for Team Legend, we see Mike Jerel and Zach Day battling it out, performing “Adorn” by Miguel. While both performers are fantastic, it seems Mike has been more precise, technically, and he emerges as the winner. There are no steals and saves. Team Blake sees Jamal Corrie and Levi Watkins performing “Counting Stars” by OneRepublic.
Jamal delivers a fun performance but Levi shines through and through. He moves to the knockouts, and there are no steals and saves here either. Allegra Miles and Michael Williams, from Team Nick, perform “How Will I Know” by Whitney Houston. The two deliver a chilling performance, but Allegra has something special and emerges as the victor. However, Nick saves Michael, who’s now headed to the four-way knockout. It remains to be seen, how the remaining performers do, in the battle rounds, in the upcoming episode.
