This is Us Season 5 Plot: What can it be About?

In the brutally honest season 4, all the main characters face their personal demons. Randall comes to grips with his crippling anxiety and sleeplessness by going to a therapist, while Kevin strives to be more responsible. At the same time, Kate faces the trauma inflicted upon her by Marc, her verbally abusive boyfriend from the past. On the other hand, the trio grows concerned about the deteriorating health of their mother, Rebecca, who keeps forgetting stuff and often fails to recollect her memories, indicating an early onset of Alzheimer’s. The season finale reveals the cause of future rift between the two brothers Randall and Kevin, which results in them initiating the estrangement.

Just like its previous season, season 5 will continue to paint a realistic picture of the complications that exist in a family. The show will continue to follow Randall, Kate, and Kevin’s personal stories by highlighting the issues faced by each one of them in their pre-teen, teen, and adult timelines and its implications on their own life and the lives of their loved ones. We can also expect the season to shed some more light on Jack and Rebecca’s life before his unfortunate demise. The future generations of the Pearson family might play a pivotal role in season 5.
