A humble theater production in the school “changed everything” for actor Thomas Middleditch. The experience transformed the reclusive, introverted kid into a popular and talented student in the school. Middleditch moved to Chicago to pursue a career in acting. When the show was premiered in 2014, his hyper-anxious, nerdist characterization of the techie Richard Hendricks turned the protagonist archetypes of television series upside down. People liked the flawed and vulnerable hero. Middleditch went on the become the new sensation of American television. He also earned an Emmy nomination in 2016 for his flawed hero Richard Hendricks. Along with his co-stars, Kumail Nanjiani, Zach Woods, Martin Starr and T.J. Miller in the show, Middleditch made ‘Silicon Valley’ a huge success.
The actor played a cameo in the 2013 classic ‘The Wolf of Wall Street‘ He played the character of a trader who is fired for washing his bowl during working hours. Middleditch played the titular hero in Disney animated series ‘Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero.’ In 2014, he started playing a major role in the CollegeHumor series on Youtube titled ‘CAMP.’ His other popular voice role is in ‘Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie‘ from DreamWorks Animation. 3. Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
Thomas Middleditch plays the character of Sam Coleman in the upcoming ‘Godzilla‘ sequel ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters.’ Coleman serves as the Director of Technology in the crypto-zoological agency Monarch, which works covertly to protect the human race from the monsters and other threats. Coleman oversees Monarch’s advanced technology initiatives and works as the spokesperson of the agency at various government meetings. The upcoming movie picks up the story-line from the first installment, ‘Godzilla’ (2014). The plot revolves around the Monarch and their plans to deal with the monsters and an evil mastermind who plots for world domination. The other cast includes Charles Dance, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Lexi Rabe, and Ken Watanabe. The film is directed by Michael Dougherty from a screenplay he co-wrote with Zach Shields. ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ is set to release on May 31, 2019.
2. Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)
Sony Pictures’ upcoming ‘Zombieland‘ sequel, ‘ Zombieland: Double Tap‘ features an ensemble cast including Thomas Middleditch, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Zoey Deutch, and Rosario Dawson. The plot is set in a Zombieland where the zombie hunters confront a new advanced breed of zombies. They have to deal with the new walking dead before the bloodthirsty creatures devour some of the new human survivors, reports Variety. More details about Middlebitch’s character haven’t been revealed yet. The first instalment, ‘Zombieland’, went on to become a surprise hit. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who are the writers of the first movie, as well as director Ruben Fleischer return for the sequel. ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ is scheduled for an October 11, 2019 release.

‘Above the Line’ is directed by Jeffrey Scott Collins, who is known for the critically acclaimed ‘Poor Greg Drowning’. Described as a dark heist comedy in the similar veins of Quentin Tarantino and Coen Brothers movies, ‘Above the Line’ features Cedric the Entertainer, Thomas Middleditch, Taryn Manning, and Nicola Peltz in important roles. Collins co-wrote the script along with Jono Matt. The plot and other details of the project are under tight wraps.
