Thomas Middleditch plays the character of Sam Coleman in the upcoming ‘Godzilla‘ sequel ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters.’ Coleman serves as the Director of Technology in the crypto-zoological agency Monarch, which works covertly to protect the human race from the monsters and other threats. Coleman oversees Monarch’s advanced technology initiatives and works as the spokesperson of the agency at various government meetings. The upcoming movie picks up the story-line from the first installment, ‘Godzilla’ (2014). The plot revolves around the Monarch and their plans to deal with the monsters and an evil mastermind who plots for world domination. The other cast includes Charles Dance, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Lexi Rabe, and Ken Watanabe. The film is directed by Michael Dougherty from a screenplay he co-wrote with Zach Shields. ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ is set to release on May 31, 2019.
2. Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)
Sony Pictures’ upcoming ‘Zombieland‘ sequel, ‘ Zombieland: Double Tap‘ features an ensemble cast including Thomas Middleditch, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Zoey Deutch, and Rosario Dawson. The plot is set in a Zombieland where the zombie hunters confront a new advanced breed of zombies. They have to deal with the new walking dead before the bloodthirsty creatures devour some of the new human survivors, reports Variety. More details about Middlebitch’s character haven’t been revealed yet. The first instalment, ‘Zombieland’, went on to become a surprise hit. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who are the writers of the first movie, as well as director Ruben Fleischer return for the sequel. ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ is scheduled for an October 11, 2019 release.
