Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series Season 3: Everything We Know

‘Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series’ was conceptualized as a continuation to the events of ‘Trailer Park Boys’ — after it concluded with its 12th outing. In the animated version, the premise, characters, and theme stay the same. The only difference is, this time, we meet our favorite sketchy trio in their cartoon counterparts. And just like its predecessor, the animated spinoff opened to warm reviews from spans. After spanning two seasons, fans want to know if there will be a ‘Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series’ season 3. Read on!

Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series Season 3 Release Date

‘Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series’ season 2 premiered on May 22, 2020, on Netflix. It consisted of 10 episodes.

As far as a new season goes, here’s what we kn0w. The show’s live-action version, following its 12th installment in 2018, went on a hiatus. This was mainly due to the demise of one of its lead cast members, John Dunsworth, who played Jim Lahey. The future of the series was uncertain and the creators decided to continue the story by converting the characters to their animated avatars. The first season of ‘The Animated Series’ is, in fact, a continuation of the parent material. However, the original ‘Trailer Park Boys’ is making a comeback with its 13th edition. So, it remains to be seen if the makers want to continue its cartoon twin as well. If they do, they need to tweak the story arc to tell two different parallel tales. And if that happens and Netflix renews the show for another outing, we can expect ‘Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series’ season 3 to release sometime in May 2021.

Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series Season 3 Cast: Who Can be in it?

The lead cast of ‘The Animated Series’ is comprised of the original stars from the live-action version, who voice their respective characters. John Paul Tremblay voices Julian, Robb Wells voices Ricky LaFleur, and Mike Smith voices Bubbles. John Dunsworth posthumously voiced Jim Lahey in season 1. But he does not feature in season 2 and won’t be appearing in the next edition as well. Joining the lead cast in other recurring voiceover roles is Patrick Roach as Randy, Cory Bowles as Cory aka Steve French or Naked Man, Jeanna Harrison as Trinity Collins, Jacob Rolfe as Jacob Collins, Sarah E. Dunsworth as Sarah, Tyrone Parsons as Tyrone, Marguerite McNeil as Marguerite, and Shelley Thompson as Barb Lahey.

Season 3, as and when it happens, will see the entire main cast making their comebacks. However, we might see a few changes or new additions in the supporting roles.
