Bellisario went to Campbell Hall School and was graduated from University of California in Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009. In 1988, Bellisario made her acting debut in the film Last Rites, by Donald P. Bellisario. Later In 1998, she co-starred in the film Billboard Dad. The film was a direct to video comedy film by Alan Matter.
