Vanitas no Karte Episode 3 Spoilers

In episode 2, Vanitas and Noé find themselves in jail for the airship incident but are soon released due to the intervention of Count Orlok, one of the few vampires who have decided to stay in the human world after the war between humans and vampires. Orlok is also the representative of the Vampire Queen in the human world. From him, Vanitas and Noé learn that Amelia will soon be executed because of the curse. Noé convinces Orlok to give them a day to show him that Vanitas can really cure the curse with the book. They will find a vampire named Thomas Berneux, who has come from the other side of the barrier two months ago and has killed 12 people by drinking their blood.

With Dante’s assistance, they find the vampire and incapacitate him. However, right then, a young vampire named Luca appears along with his chevalier, Jeanne. Luca asks Vanitas to give him the book so that he can destroy it. It is revealed that Luca’s brother is suffering from the curse. When Vanitas refuses, Jeanne attacks. Realizing that she is the infamous Hellfire Witch, Vanitas retreats with Noé and finds a hiding spot to come up with a plan about how to deal with Jeanne. In episode 3, Vanitas will likely have to face Jeanne and finish the battle as soon as he can so he can go and submit his findings to Orlok to prevent Amelia’s execution.
