Vanitas no Karte Episode 4: What to Expect?

Based on a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Jun Mochizuki, ‘Vanitas no Karte’ or ‘The Case Study of Vanitas’ is a vampire steampunk fantasy TV anime. It revolves around the self-proclaimed healer of the vampires, Vanitas. He named himself after the vampire of the blue moon, from whom he inherited the book he uses to cure his patients. He meets Noé Archiviste, a Vampire of the Red Moon, who has come to Paris seeking the book. The anime premiered on July 3, 2021. Here is everything you need to know about its upcoming episode.

Vanitas no Karte Episode 4 Release Date

‘Vanitas no Karte’ episode 4, titled ‘Night of Mocking Masks,’ is set to release on July 24, 2021, in Japan. It will premiere at various times on Tokyo MX, GYT, GTV, BS11, MBS, CBC, HBC, and RKB. In Southeast Asia, the episodes will be broadcast from July 24, 2021. The series is a split-cour anime. Studio Bones produced the series, with Tomoyuki Itamura helming the directorial team and Hitomi Mieno leading the writing staff. Yuki Kajiura worked on the music, and Tomoyo Nakayama handled the character designs. Sasanomaly sang the opening theme track, “Sora to Utsuro,” while LMYK sang the ending theme track, “0 (zero).”

Viewers in the US, Canada, Ireland, and the UK can watch ‘Vanitas no Karte’ episodes with original Japanese audio and English subtitles on Funimation. The Portuguese and Spanish subtitled versions will also be available on the platform for its Latin American viewers. People in the Scandinavian countries can watch the show with English subtitles on Wakanim. Episodes with French, German, and Russian subtitles will also be available on the platform. Vanitas no Karte Episode 4 Spoilers

In episode 3, Vanitas manages to survive Jeanne’s attacks long enough for Thomas Breneux to wake up, transform into a wolf-like monster and bite deep into Jeanne’s shoulder. Vanitas takes the opportunity and punches Jeanne in the gut. But still, the Hellfire Witch will not accept her defeat. Vanitas tells her to watch as he cures Thomas Breneux, returning his true name, Bucolicus, to him. As Jeanne tries to get up again, Noé appears with Luca. Vanitas convinces Jeanne that he has instructed Noé to kill Luca if Jeanne doesn’t surrender. Realizing that she has no other choice, Jeanne surrenders. Vanitas recognizes that the Hellfire Witch has found a source of strength in protecting someone. He kisses her before confessing his love for her. When Jeanne leaves with Luca, she tells Vanitas that the next time she will kill him.

Breneux is found dead in an alley. As a member of the Archiviste family, Noé can read people’s minds by drinking their blood. He does this with Amelia at Orlok’s office and finds out that an entity named Charlatan had stolen her true name. Dominique de Sade arrives and claims that she is Noe’s fiancée. She then places a chain around Noé’s neck and takes him to the other side of the barrier, Altus Paris. Vanitas follows them by grabbing Noé’s hand at the right time. In episode 4, Vanitas and Noé might attend a masquerade ball. The episode might focus on Noé’s relationship with Louis de Sade.
