In the fourth episode of ‘War of the Worlds’ season 2, the Invaders take it a notch higher. We see them adopt extreme measures to torture and kill humans, even kids, without the slightest bit of remorse. It has been suspected that this instinct embedded so deeply in their system is attributed to Sacha’s inherent psychopathic tendencies. As he is the genetic ancestor of the Invaders, it only makes sense for the Invaders to exhibit such traits naturally.
He kills Ash, who was still mourning the loss of his fiancée and trying to protect orphaned babies. Sacha even lies about Ash’s death when asked later. But their intimate exchanges are soon cut short when he sacrifices himself to protect the others, including Sophia and Nathan’s unborn child.
