War of the Worlds Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

In the sixth episode of ‘War of the Worlds’ season 2, Catherine is stunned at discovering that the Invaders are creatures of time travel. For viewers, it might not have come as a shock because of the season one finale that hinted at the possibility. Nevertheless, the Invaders, since day one, have stuck to their mission of killing Bill Ward, even though he has at times been sympathetic to them (Isla, to be more specific!) As she is about to smack him with an ashtray in the lab, she also realizes that he is capable of feeling pain. So the next time she meets Adina, Isla shares news of this exciting discovery with her.

On the other side, Jonathan is forced to kill one of his own after the aliens hold his son at gunpoint. As the Invaders continue to attack, Emily realizes that the humans don’t deserve to be crushed under their power and the only way she could retaliate is by letting Bill collect the virus from her blood. Moreover, her brother Tom almost lost his life to these mass killings that further convinced her to side with the humans. In the meantime, we learn that Dylan was stabbed by an experiment subject, Bob, who is also Catherin’s attacker. Till this point, we always believed that he is responsible for Lilly’s death, but in reality, he had locked her out of the lab. Sacha seems to be following Emily.
